Ceramics is one of the first materials with which humans have become associated. For children, it remains a unique gateway to the world: through hands, touch, and the living material.
Starting in September, we are opening the workshop for the little ones. A space designed with calm in mind, where the child’s creativity and sensory and psychopedagogical development guide each session — and where, naturally, the classic techniques of ceramics are introduced: hand-molding, the use of a lathe, building with clay, chocs or pinch pots, the application of glazes and decorations, and baking.
We are not looking for the perfect piece. We are looking for children who dare to touch, to make mistakes, to create!
The children will work with clay in a creative and relaxed environment, developing manual skills, concentration, patience and, above all, their imagination!
Hand-modeled : They will shape the clay by creating animals, cups, vases, or figures that they themselves will imagine.
Pottery wheel : They will try the wheel, a fun experience where they will see how the clay transforms in their hands.
Decoration and painting: Once they are dry, they will decorate their pieces with colors, textures, and glazes.
Everyone progresses at their own pace. If it is their first contact with ceramics, they will learn from the very basics. And if they already have experience, they can continue developing their skills.
